Six Week Throwing Course
This six week throwing course is aimed at those who would like to learn basic throwing skills, and those with some experience who would like to further develop their skills, and allow time to focus on any other particular aspect you would like to improve. There will be a maximum of 4 students per class with two instructors.
The Course covers:
For those with little or no experience—Centering clay on the wheel and throwing basic cylinders, moving on to bowls, mugs and jugs etc practising your preferred form, throwing to specific measurements, repeat throwing. We also cover an introduction to clay management and decoration.
For those with some experience we can start at the level you are at or the particular areas you wish to work on.

Two Day and five half day Courses
These two course are intensive throwing courses aimed at those who would like to learn basic throwing skills, and those with some experience who would like to further develop their skills, and allow time to focus on any other particular aspect they would like to improve.
Two day course - runs on consecutive days 10 am - 4.30pm - £240 per person
5 half day course - runs on five consecutive days with a choice of am 9.45-12.45 or pm 1.30-4.30 - £300 per person

Five Day Pottery Course
This 5 day Course is aimed at those who would like to learn basic throwing skills, after attending a throwing taster session, and those with some experience who would like to further develop their skills.
It will also give a basic introduction to pottery equipment and studio set up and allow time to focus on any other particular aspect you would like to improve.
The Course covers:
Clay preparation: wedging techniques,
Throwing: centering clay on the wheel and throwing basic cylinders, moving on to bowls, mugs and jugs etc practising your preferred form, throwing to specific measurements, repeat throwing
Additional Techniques: turning and finishing, pulling and attaching handles, surface decoration. Introduction to glazes and glazing.
Pottery Equipment—introduction to firing kilns and studio set up.
Core teaching hours: 5 days 10am—4.30 pm
The Cost is £650 for 1 person, £620 each for 2 persons
